HVAC flexible air ducting
Flexible duct is designed for HVAC systems. It is lightweight, strong, fully flexible and compressible, yet dimensionally stable. It is made of a double lamination of films permanently bonded to a coated spring steel wire helix. For thermal efficiency it is wrapped externally with fibreglass wool insulation of the density and thickness the thermal resistance calls for. The outer jacket is a double laminated film with fibreglass yarn reinforcement, which acts as a vapour barrier.
