Metal building insulation rolls, the standard choice for roofs and walls.

- Glass wool roll with FSK facing
- Rockwool roll or slab with foil

Roof and wall insulation for sheds and warehouses, laid under the sheeting with a facing that stops the roof raining on your stock.
On a sunny afternoon a bare metal roof is basically a heater. The sheet gets far hotter than the air and all that heat radiates straight down onto people, machines and stock. If you've stood in an uninsulated warehouse at 3 pm in May you know exactly what we mean. Fans push the hot air around. They don't get rid of it.
Then there's the dripping, which people tend to notice in winter mornings and during the monsoon. Air inside the shed is warmer and damper than the roof sheet, so water condenses on the underside of the sheet and drips onto the floor, the stock and sometimes the electrical panels. Pre engineered metal building insulation with a proper vapour facing takes care of the heat and the dripping in one go.

Light, quick radiant barriers that sit right under the sheet.

Roof or wall and insulation in a single product.

Holds the insulation up and keeps the facing continuous.
The cheapest, easiest time to insulate a PEB shed is while it's going up. Wire mesh or straps get run across the purlins, the roll goes on top with the facing down, the joints are taped and the roof sheet goes straight over it. One trip up onto the roof covers both jobs.
If the shed's already built and running, we fix the insulation from underneath instead. That's underdeck insulation, and it can normally be done section by section without stopping production. On a ceramic unit in Morbi we covered 92,000 sq ft of PEB roof that way, shift by shift, with the line running the whole time.
How we work, the same four steps on a single line or a plant-wide shutdown.
We go through the drawings or walk the shed, check purlin spacing and roof and wall areas, and find out whether the building's live.
Material, density, thickness, facing and how it's supported, all in writing, with a rate per square metre and dates.
Material comes from our stock and gets fitted with the PEB erector during construction, or from below if the shed's already working.
We measure the area jointly, hand over photos and give you a written warranty.
Still unsure? Send us the duty and a few photos and we will tell you what we would fit.
It's the insulation fitted under the roof sheets and wall sheets of a pre engineered metal building. We normally use a glass wool or rockwool roll with foil or FSK facing, and it deals with both the heat from the roof and the condensation.
In most sheds we'd go with a glass wool roll faced with aluminium foil or FSK, it's the best value for what it does. If your insurer or the client wants a better fire rating, rockwool. For cold rooms and clean buildings we'd usually suggest sandwich panels instead.
Yes, quite a lot of our work is exactly that. We fix it up from below the roof (underdeck insulation, basically) and go a few bays at a time so the shed doesn't have to stop.
That's condensation. The air in the shed is warmer and wetter than the sheet, so water forms on the underside of the sheet and falls. If the insulation has a continuous vapour facing, the damp air can't reach the sheet and it stops.
We price industrial PEB insulation per square metre. What changes the rate is the material, the thickness, the facing, and whether we're fitting it during erection or from below afterwards, which takes longer. Send drawings or let us see the site and you'll get a written rate.

Send the PEB drawings or just a few photos of the roof. We'll suggest the insulation, the facing and a rate per square metre.
